Our interlocutor Anaida Georgievna Guzalova, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Director of the Anguzal Agroservice enterprise, studied at the Moscow Institute of Microbiology and Virology, Moscow State University and Zentrum für Molekulare Biologie der Universität Heidelberg, as well as Tashkent State University. - Hello, Anaida Georgievna, we know you not only as the head of the company for the production of biological products, the only one in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, but also as one of the most mature scientists of our modern agriculture. Tell us more about your company and products? - Hello dear farmers, greenhouses and horticultural owners. We have been producing high-quality and environmentally friendly biological products for agriculture and organic farming for over 14 years, and we are the first and only plant in Uzbekistan.
Products include fungicides, insecticides, biostimulants, biofertilizers, as well as antiviral drugs and unique developments for plant protection from frost. Now about our work: It all starts with our own laboratory with all the necessary equipment: electron microscopes with displays, thermostats, autoclaves, reactors and ovens. In the laboratory, we study soil and plant diseases, give agrotechnical conclusions, and study microorganisms. All strains are local, which ensures their effective work in our climate.
Under the microscope, we examine fungi and bacteria, study their morphology, titer and test their effectiveness against pathogens such as Fusarium in Petri dishes. We carry out the main work on the preparation of seed material in the laboratory. All work is carried out under sterile conditions in a laminar box. After the laboratory, microorganisms are introduced into production, where there are sterile conditions, and the cultivation of microorganisms is carried out in closed containers until the required titer of spores is reached. In these microbiological preparations, the titer of spores is indicated, if it is an extract of microorganisms, then the bacterium from which this extract was obtained is indicated.
For example, the Sporagin biofungicide uses the bacterium Bacillus subtilis, spore titer 109. Bacteria are grown to form spores (at rest), so they remain viable for a long time. Once in our plant, they “wake up” and begin an active fight against harmful microorganisms, thereby protecting and healing plants. In the preparation "Baktomin" to increase the immunity of plants, an extract of the bacterium Azotobacter chroococcum, which has already absorbed nitrogen from the air and converted it into an easily digestible form, and the bacterium Bacillus subtilis are used. Each batch of the finished product is tested in the laboratory for quality and effectiveness, and only then goes on sale. If the package does not indicate the active substance, titer or other form of a biological product, then with a probability of 99% this is a fraud!!! The production of biological products is a very serious and responsible business that requires great knowledge.
